arts

. When I was a little girl, I loved to play dress up. I loved to go to my mom's wardrobe and tried on everything. I mixed and match styles; played with colors and patterns...and I could do that for hours and hours in front of a mirror! 😅 . My Mom also had these cupboards full of textiles from all over the world! I went nuts looking at the colors, the patterns, the textures. I wondered the cultures that created them and how they lived. It was astonishing for me. I would choose playing with those textiles than studying or doing homework for sure. . About a week ago I went to the National Museum of Mongolia and saw some ethnic costumes of Mongolian people. They are just gorgeous! Layers of beautiful silk, perfectly tailored and adorned with incredible pieces of jewellery arts. 😍😍😍 . These are just a few of my own intepretation of those costumes I saw. Drawing them brought me back to those years when arts had always been a big part of my life, I just didn't realize it. . . . #thought #thoughts #memory #memories #story #stories #mystory #life #mylife #childhood #childhoodstory #art #arts #textile #clothing #ethnic #traditional #mongolian #beinghuman #create #creating #draw #drawing #fashion #fashiondesign #doodle #doodles #inspired

This etching provides a wealth in the tonal range of the cranberry pigment it was printed in. This biblical piece takes an unusual approach to composition, it displays an interesting relationship between positive and negative space. The small details within the cloth of the subjects, as well as their faces are quite exquisite!

1 or 2? 😍 cuteness overload 💕
